VTCT Level 4 Award in Skin Blemish Removal

Advanced electrolysis for safe removal of common skin blemishes — open to medics & non-medics.

Nationally regulated (Ofqual) qualification that builds credible, insurable skills and prepares you for higher study at Level 5 and Level 7.

Course Overview

Learn to assess, plan and perform advanced electrolysis (thermolysis/short-wave and blend) to treat selected benign skin blemishes safely and effectively. You’ll build a professional case portfolio under supervision, with a strong focus on consultation, contraindications, hygiene and post-treatment care.

Our learners receive full aftercare support following completion, including business start-up guidance, product recommendations, insurance advice and access to trusted suppliers — helping you launch or expand your aesthetics career with confidence.
